Would you believe me if I said I've been busy since the last devblog update? It's all relative of course. Here's a summary:
And there you have it, the sum total of six weeks or so of "busy-ness". I've spent a lot of time listening to and figuring out different versions of I Love You, and I realised I was overlooking some alternate album versions in my supposedly chronological methodology.
Note, I still have a few things to check with the Phydeaux LP version of SLATG, such as that it seems to have a reversed stereo image. Either that or I mixed up my red and black connectors.
- Completed the lyrics on the Rehearsal For Reality album page. I'm going to call this album R4R throughout the rest of this post.
- Updated the Woman of God song page to include version 4 lyrics. (ie the R4R version).
- Created song pages for A Dream Come True, Voices In The Night, Living In The 20th Century, That’s When Jesus Knew, The Man From Galilee and Up In Canada, and added links to them on the Songs landing page.
- Updated the Gonna Write A Song About You song page to reference R4R. Made small lyrical corrections here and on the Down Under album page.
- Updated the following song pages to reference R4R: It’s Only Today That Counts and Galaxy.
- Made small lyrical corrections to Why Can’t You Be Good on the R4R, Down Under and song pages.
- Made a small lyrical correction to the More Than A Dream song page, and on the R4R page.
- Created The Best Of The Second Trilogy album page.
- Updated the It’s Only Today That Counts, Trinity and Soul On Fire song pages to include the Second Trilogy versions.
- Updated the My Feet Are On The Rock, He Really Loves You and Nightmare #49 song pages to the new format, and added the 2nd Trilogy versions.
- Added images of (rare) Brazilian and Argentinian singles to the I Love You song page.
- Added an image of a promo card to the Riding High song page.
- Updated the 1000 Years BC song page, to refer to the South American singles, to mono / stereo mixes, and to the reversed stereo image on We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
- Updated the I Love You song page to include the alternate version from the Brazilian single. Also corrected an error in the Mexican EP catalogue number.
- Updated the We Three Twogether song page to the new format.
- Added the first Phydeaux LP to the SLATG page.
- Updated Christmas Time lyrics on the Starstorm page, and on the song page.
- Updated Fly Fly Fly lyrics on the SLATG page, and on the song page.
- Added missing background vocals to She’s A Dancer lyrics on SLATG and song pages.
- Added missing "aah aah aah" to the lyrics for The Same Old Story on the Starstorm and song pages. Also updated the song page to reference the Phydeaux SLATG LP.
- Made a small correction to the Be Careful What You Sign lyrics.
- Updated the song pages for PeacePollutionRevolution and Nightmare to reference the Phydeaux SLATG LP versions.
