This album is the work of Larry's brother Charles and was mostly recorded over the last three years or so of Larry's life. Larry's passing interrupted completion however, and it wasn't released until some five years later
This is a reworking of Lee Hazelwood's debut album of the same title. Each track is preceded by a story introducing the subject of the song, here narrated by the Norman's real life mailman at the time, Jerry. Larry sings lead vocals on Ugly Brown and on the title track. Although not included on the final release, he also recorded vocals for Six Feet Of Chain. The 'Larry version' of this song was released on the final SRA CD, Shepherd Of Green Pastures and on the CD Archive
