Update 42

I've been spending a lot of time transferring, listening to, scanning and photographing Larry's cassettes. The upshot is that whilst there may not be too much new around here for you to look at, there has been way more activity than is obvious. Like a swan. All calm and graceful on the surface, but under the water the feet are paddling away like there's no tomorrow.

Actually, that's an exaggeration. Maybe a sloth is a better comparison. Regardless, the fact is that there is new stuff for you to look at. You might even learn something you weren't aware of. I know I have!

• Updated the Other Releases page with respect to Lisa Weyerhaeuser's Caught In Time & Space CD. Corrected the lyrics to Psalm 42, and added the other three songs Larry was involved in on that release. Did you know that the version of Psalm 42 Larry released on Barking At The Oops is a completely different edit than on Lisa's album? You do now.
• Created a song page for Closest Friend. Did you know that song was recorded in Mark Heard's studio, and he thought it was a great song? You do now. So do I as it happens. (Both now know that piece of trivia and think it's a great song).
• Updated In Another Land with reference to the 1991 CD releases.
• Added a Pushing Back The Darkness image to the A Moment In Time page. Did you know that Word took orders for Pushing Back The Darkness? You do now.
  
• Tidied up all European Stranded In Babylon lyrics.
• Updated Taking My Time re The Rock Revival compilation.
  
• Updated Only Visiting This Planet reference the 1993 CD. Did you notice that the initial "four" is removed from Reader's Digest? Or that the track split between I Wish We'd All Been Ready and The Six O’Clock News is botched? How about Oh How I Love You ending earlier and having a botched track split. It seems that quality control left a little to be desired on that release.
  
• Updated Copper Wires to highlight that there are 'hybrid' copies out there - with the first cover but the second disc.
  
• Updated Upon This Rock to reflect the three cassette versions I have. And added proper 'SKAO' images, having finally obtained a copy.
• Added the promotional version with 'double line' labels to the So Long Ago The Garden page.
  
• Added images of Solveig Leithaug's In The World LP to the Other Releases page. Likewise Born Twice by Randy Stonehill.
  
• Created a song page for Norman’s Kitchen.
• Updated Only Visiting This Planet reference several cassette releases. Did you know there are some intriguing differences between vinyl and cassette versions of the same releases? You do now. Go check it out!
  
• Added images of cassettes to the following pages: Bootleg, Only Visiting This Planet, So Long Ago The Garden, In Another Land, Streams Of White Light, Friends On Tour, The Israel Tapes, The Story Of The Tune, Something New Under The Son, Quiet Night, Stop This Flight, Back To America, Down Under, Rehearsal 4 Reality and The Best Of The Second Trilogy.
  
• Updated Something New Under The Son reference the 1993 CD release. Did you know that the CD is something of a mix-match between the US and UK vinyl versions? You do now.
• Added images of the Solid Rock Import cassette to the Other Releases page.
• Added The Strait Tapes Volume II to the Other Releases page.
  
• Added images of a mispressed copy of the UK 7” single I’ve Got To Learn To Live Without You / The Outlaw. It has the same label on both sides. You can see it on the vinyl tab of the Singles page.
  
• Updated many song pages as required with respect to the above activity. Minor, and sometimes major lyrical corrections, version detail updates and corrections etc etc.

I will sign off with an honest question..... Could a sloth have achieved all of the above in six weeks or so? I'm not convinced it could have. Maybe a lethargic badger is a better comparison.
