lyrics version 1
I don't believe in miracles
Or stories with a happy end
Do you suppose a miracle
Is happening to me, to me
Heaven is in your mind
When love is in your heart
Na na na na na na na na
Ha ha world, ha ha world
Na na na na na na na-na na
When you know a wonderful secret
You don't let it go unsaid
I wish we'd all been ready [x7]
I wish we'd all
[Note, this song is almost entirely sung by the backing vocalists. Larry only sings during the second 'na na' line]
Or stories with a happy end
Do you suppose a miracle
Is happening to me, to me
Heaven is in your mind
When love is in your heart
Na na na na na na na na
Ha ha world, ha ha world
Na na na na na na na-na na
When you know a wonderful secret
You don't let it go unsaid

lyrics version 3
[Nothing really changes
Everything remains the same
We are what we are till the day that we die]
[Note: Because of the track split, the third run through of the chorus at the end of Nothing Really Changes (above) is actually on this track on the CD. Further, a two second gap was added between each track, so the cross fade between the two songs is completely ruined]

Just as the Prelude anticipated the wholeness of the album, the Postlude is the denouement of what has gone before. It is the summation of the central themes of many of the songs. It is the termination of the journey from the mind to the heart. My prayer was that the music would somehow change lives as it undertook its own journey.
