Down To The Water

This song was written by Charles Norman and Aslak Nygren of the band Sister Rain, who together formed a band called The Merchants Of Venus, whose only album was titled Wish Across The Land. In the meantime, a US band was formed also using the name Merchants Of Venus, so a US reworking of Wish Across The Land released through Larry's Solid Rock label was instead under the title Hi-Fi Demonstration Record and band name Wondergroove. This recording was a bonus track on Hi-Fi Demonstration Record, featuring Larry's vocals in place of Aslak's. This version of the song is credited to Charles, Larry and Aslak as a co-write.
